This dictionary is a further evolution of the well-known English-Russian Computer Engineering Dictionary under the editorship of E. The English-Russian Dictionary of Computer Science Latin, French, and Old French words and expressions used in British and American law have also been included. The Dictionary covers international private and public law, state law, administrative law, criminal law, civil law, commercial law, courts, patents, and copyright. The Dictionary reflects the legal terminology of Great Britain and the USA and contains about 50,000 terms and term combinations. The dictionary is intended for a wide audience. The dictionary is based on contemporary cartographic publications. It includes names of continents, countries, cities, regions and districts, geographical and administrative division, as well as names of oceans, seas, bays, straits, islands, peninsulas, mountain peaks, ranges, volcanoes, lowlands and hollows, rivers, lakes, channels, etc. The dictionary covers about 60,000 geographical names. The English-Russian Dictionary of Geographical Names Most entries have original illustrative examples. Entries that are based upon forum discussions contain references to the relevant discussions. Authoritative lexicographical sources and online resources were used for the purposes of validation. All new words and phrases proposed by participants of the forum and visitors to the site were analyzed by Lingvo lexicographers, who validated the relevance and frequency. The main source of new entries was the "Добавим в Lingvo!" ("Let's add this to Lingvo") forum (). The English-Russian People's Dictionary was compiled as a complement to the English-Russian Common Vocabulary Dictionary – LingvoUniversal (En-Ru). The Dictionary contains more than 72,000 terms related to all branches of biology: botany, zoology, microbiology, cytology, histology, systematics, genetics, ethology, molecular biology, etc., as well as names of plants and animals. The New English-Russian Biological Dictionary The Dictionary is intended for students, post-graduates, professors, beer industry workers, translators, researchers, standardizers, sanitary inspectors, wholesalers, and retailers. The Dictionary contains the names of national, European and international organizations servicing the beer industry and the names of the most popular beer brands. The dictionary is convenient for both Russians and Americans learning Russian. The dictionary is intended for a wide audience: school children, students, tourists, businessmen and so on. Selection of vocabulary, presentation of pronunciation peculiarities, grammar and spelling reflect the American variant of conversational English widely used in different areas of contemporary life.
